The Spec File section contains two items—the Select By Feature command is used to select a Coax Spec file by clicking on a design feature in an existing Coax design area. This command can only be used if a Spec File is not currently attached.

The other drop-down box will list any Coax Spec Files that are currently in the database. The user can change spec files using this command.

After selecting the Coax Tab from the OpenComms menu, the first section on the ribbon is the Spec File section. If a Coax spec file has been attached previously, this file will be displayed in the dropdown box. If no Coax spec file has been attached, the Select option allows the user to click the drop-down and select a spec file which has been imported to the database:
